Burna Boy warns Speed Darlington, says ‘You’ll go back to detention if you misbehave again’

Ace Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has warned his colleague, Darlington Okoye aka Speed Darlington, that he risks returning to Kuje prison, if he continues to “misbehave”.

The Grammy-winning artiste was reacting to news of the release of Speed Darlington from custody on Tuesday.

Several media outlets had earlier reported that Darlington, who was arrested and detained by the police for accusing Burna Boy of having an immoral relationship with embattled American rapper and music executive,  Diddy, finally regained his freedom weeks after he was granted bail by a judge.

Confirming this development, human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju said Darlington, also referred to as Akpi, has left the prison.

Posting on X, Adeyanju wrote: “Speed Darlington is out of Kuje Prison.”

Reacting to the reports, Burna Boy threatened to send the singer back to detention if he “misbehaved” again.

He went on to add that this time around there would be no mercy for the controversial artiste.

Speaking via his Instagram post, the ‘Last Last’ crooner wrote, “If you like misbehave again, you’ll go back to where you come from! And this time around, there will be no mercy! Don’t m*ss with ODG.”
