President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has approved the reappointment of three chief executive officers in some agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture for another term of four years and another new appointment for one of the agencies.
A statement issued by the Presidency on Friday, April 30, confirmed the reappointment of the CEOs.
The three reappointed CEOs are Otunba Segun Runsewe, re-appointed for a second term of four years as the director-general of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC). Folorunso Coker is reappointed as the director-general of the Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), while Alhaji Adedayo Thomas is reappointed as the executive director of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).
Buhari also approved the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed as the Chief Executive Officer/Artistic Director of the National Troupe of Nigeria.
Ahmed was until his new appointment, the director of Culture in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Bauchi State.
