President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has appointed Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Festus Keyamo, as his re-election spokesman.
Keyamo, a staunch supporter of Buhari, was appointed through a letter signed by Buhari’ Campaign Director General, Rotimi Amaechi.
The letter indicated that Keyamo would serve as director of Strategic Communications for the re-election of the President.

Until his appointment, Keyamo has been functioning in that capacity, although unofficially via his twitter handle, defending Buhari’s policies.
Now as official spokesman for the campaign organisation, analysts say the activist is now fully baptised into the murky waters of Nigerian politics.
