Nelson Allison has emerged winner in a challenge for the Head of House position in the ongoing reality show, Big Brother Naija.
Head of house is a weekly title which the housemates would either choose in an election or through a contest.
Nelson, the current Mr. Universe Nigeria, defeated Ike to clinch the position in a contest.
This week’s head of house challenge was intense as the housemates were required to perform a task – picking buttons from an oil stained bucket of water with a peg.
Four housemates – Mercy, Ike, Khafi, and Nelson got the highest number of buttons and were able to move to the next round.
The second stage involved the four housemates building a tower with cookies, which had to remain standing for the next 30 seconds.
Three of the housemates had a tie in this round. Mercy, Nelson, and Ike all had 11 cookies standing after the second stage.
The game was repeated in order to get a winner, but Nelson and Ike got into a tie again, both with 16 cookies standing.
After one more minute, Nelson won with 15 cookies to Ike’s 13.
His prizes are 250 Bet9ja coins, the Head of House room, and a special package waiting for him in the room.
Nelson also won the first challenge in the Big Brother house called “Bet9ja Endurance Challenge”.
