Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 10/10 housemate, Farida Sultana Auduson Ibrahim, known simply as Sultana, has disclosed why she converted to Islam despite starting out as a Christian.
Speaking during a chat with fellow housemate, Zita on Wednesday night, the 25-year-old said she grew up with a Muslim father and a Christian mother.
She went on to say she was a Catholic with the baptismal name Josephine before she converted to Islam.

The plus-size model added that she decided to start practicing Islam because it is the religion that “works best” for her.
While chatting, Zita asked, “Are your parents strict Muslims?”
Responding, Sultana said: “No, I grew up going to both church and mosque, my mom is a Christian. At some point I got baptized in Catholic, my baptismal name is Josephine. I just decided to choose the religion that works best for me, which is Islam.”
Sultana’s father is a Muslim from Adamawa State, while her mother is a Christian from Yala, Cross River State.
