Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has appointed two aides to drive his community engagement and grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Atiku Media Office announced the appointment of Alh. Aliyu Bello as Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement and Dr. Victor Moses as Special Assistant on Community Engagement.
According to the statement, Bello is a seasoned journalist, entrepreneur, international trader, and grassroots politician. He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and certifications in Leadership and Business Management.
Bello previously served two terms as Kaduna State PDP Youth Leader, where he promoted youth political participation. He was also Financial Secretary of the Kaduna State chapter of the PDP before defecting to the ADC.
“His experience in media, entrepreneurship, politics, and community engagement positions him to strengthen youth participation and grassroots networks,” the statement said.
Dr. Moses, on the other hand, is described as a scholar, public affairs strategist, and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience in strategic communication, political mobilization, behavioral research, and grassroots engagement.
He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and has served as National Publicity Secretary of the Atiku Support Organisation since 2021, where he played a key role in stakeholder engagement and grassroots mobilization.
Atiku congratulated the two appointees and wished them success in advancing “our shared vision.”
The appointments come as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 general elections.
