Speaking to journalists in Yenagoa, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Non – Indigenes Affairs ( Arewa Community ), Sani Yakubu scored the state governor 100 percent in security, saying without security there can never be any meaningful development and progress.
He praised the governor for the achievements in Education, Infrastructure, Health, Transport, road construction, especially the three senatorial roads that have opened the hinterlands which hitherto were inaccessible by land except by boats.
He particularly stated that under Dickson areas like Nembe and Ekeremor can now be accessed by roads.
He said the Arewa Community will ever remain grateful to the governor for considering them worthy for appointment into his government, describing Dickson as a de-tribalised leader.
When the Emir of Nassarawa, Alhaji Isah Mustapha Agwai 1, the pro -Chancellor of the Federal University, Otuoke paid the governor a courtesy call in Yenagoa recently, he also appreciated the developmental strides of Dickson and urged the Arewa Community to rally support for him at all times.
He said the fact that Dickson has been providing security and enabling environment that would endear the non – indigenous communities existence, they should continue to reciprocate that gesture by not only being law abiding, but by continuing to support his restoration government in all ramifications.
On the recent election of the chairman of Arewa Community Chairman in Bayelsa state, Alhaji Abubakar Balis, he said the peaceful, credible and fair election devoid of fear and insecurity was another testimony that there is unity and love among all the members of the Arewa Community resident in Bayelsa State and therefore solicited the support and cooperation of members for him to succeed.
