Appeal Court Affirms Arobo as APC House of Reps candidate for Owo/Ose in Ondo

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has affirmed Barrister AbdulGhani Rotimi Arobo as the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Owo/Ose Federal Constituency of Ondo State.
The appellate court gave the unanimous decision while determining five appeals filed by Hon. Oluwatimehin Emmanuel Adelegbe, Engr. Kayode Ijalana, Dr. Abiola Oshodi and the APC, challenging the judgment of the Federal High Court that recognised Arobo as the party’s rightful candidate for the House of Representatives seat.
The appellants had approached the appellate court to set aside the lower court’s judgment, which upheld Arobo’s candidacy for the Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.
However, the Court of Appeal resolved the issues raised in the appeals in favour of Arobo, thereby upholding the decision of the Federal High Court.
The ruling reinforces the lower court’s position on the APC candidacy for the federal constituency and affirms Arobo’s recognition as the party’s candidate.
