The Apostolic Faith Church, West and Central Africa Headquarters, has celebrated the 70th birthday of its esteemed District Superintendent, Rev. Isaac Adigun, describing his life as a remarkable testimony of God’s goodness, grace and faithfulness.
The church, in a special birthday message marking the milestone, expressed gratitude to God for the gift of Rev. Adigun, joining his family, church leaders, members and well-wishers across the region to celebrate his attainment of 70 years.
Under the theme, “70 Years of God’s Goodness,” the church declared: “Today we celebrate the gift that you are to us. Happy Birthday, Sir.”
The message highlighted the abundant grace, unfailing mercies and faithfulness of God upon the life of the celebrant throughout his seven decades.
The celebration underscores the significance of Rev. Adigun’s years of Christian service, particularly his commitment to the propagation of the gospel and his continued dedication to the work of God.
The church said it was grateful for the gift of Rev. Adigun’s life and prayed that God would grant him many more fruitful years to enjoy the beauty of His grace and the joy of His presence.
It also prayed that the Lord would continue to uphold the District Superintendent, renew his strength and increase his usefulness in God’s vineyard.
The birthday message further prayed that Rev. Adigun would be satisfied with long life and God’s salvation, as members and well-wishers continue to celebrate God’s faithfulness in his life.
The celebration provided an opportunity for members, family, friends, colleagues and church leaders to acknowledge Rev. Adigun’s dedication to the Christian faith and his service to the Apostolic Faith Church.
At 70, the celebrant’s journey was presented as one worthy of thanksgiving, with the church attributing the milestone to decades of divine preservation, grace, mercy and faithfulness.
The church’s birthday tribute was accompanied by photographs chronicling different moments in Rev. Adigun’s life and ministry, alongside the inscription, “Happy 70th Birthday, Rev. Isaac Adigun.”
The celebration comes as the Apostolic Faith Church continues its evangelical mission across West and Central Africa, with its headquarters using the occasion to honour its District Superintendent and celebrate the grace of God upon his life.
For the church, Rev. Adigun’s 70th birthday is not merely a celebration of age but a thanksgiving for a life preserved by God and devoted to His service.
