APC closes the gap in Oron, Akwa Ibom as PDP leads slightly

The All Progressives Congress (APC) made a strong showing in three polling units monitored by our correspondent in Oron, Akwa Ibom State.

Akwa Ibom is a PDP stronghold, and the PDP is expected to win big in the state.

But the results so far showed that the PDP is not leading big. At Methodist Boys High School, polling unit 001, the PDP polled 101 votes while the APC got 68 votes.

At another polling unit 004 Odung Okun, the PDP won by 101 votes, while the APC came second with 58 votes.

At the Maritime Academy Oron polling unit, PDP polled 80 votes while the APC got 51 votes.
