A bomb exploded in Nyanya, Abuja on Thursday evening, 17 days after a similar explosion killed at least 75 people in the same area.

Details of the attack were not immediately available.
Premium Times reported that residents of the area said they heard the explosion close to the same spot where an explosion occurred on April 14.
Security and emergency officials were seen rushing to the site.
People living around the area have been advised to restrict their movement to allow security personnel access to the area.
TheNiche could not immediately confirm the casualty figure, but it was learnt that a number of people have died.
Survivors have been taken to the National Hospital in Abuja Central Business District.
