Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said he and Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola are not in the same boat, insisting that their comparison is a “joke”.
He made this known ahead of Sunday’s Derby, arguing that he is under more pressure than the Spanish tactician.
The Red Devils after their opening fixture defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford, are currently in the ninth spot in the Premier League. In contrast, Man City are 13th after back-to-back defeats from Spurs and Brighton.
Speaking about the Manchester Derby on Sunday, Amorim noted that he is under more pressure than Guardiola despite the positions of the two clubs on the league table.

According to the Portuguese tactician, his Spanish counterpart has already achieved success at the Etihad during his nine-year spell.
While responding to a question from a journalist, Amorim insisted, “No, you cannot compare.
“The guy is winning all the time. He can relax if he’s not winning anymore.
“I have to prove myself every day here and I feel that. So I’m really comfortable with that and I think that every day that I come here, that I have to do better.
“To compare me with the situation of Guardiola is just a joke. I think we have bigger problems.”
