Ahiara Pillars felicitates with Imo Governor-elect, Ihedioha, on his victory

Ahiara Pillars, a key socio-cultural and political association in Ahiara Mbaise felicitates with the Governor-elect of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha on his recent victory in the governorship election held on March 9, 2019.

A statement signed by the National President of the association, Prince Iyke Nwaneche, said Ihedioha’s victory was well-deserved and in the interest of Imo State and Imolites.

The group added that the coming of Ihedioha this time as governor signposts better things to happen in Imo State, and urged all and sundry in the state to support his administration when he fully takes over the reins of power on May 29, 2019.

Nwaneche wrote: “The patrons, executive and entire members of Ahiara Pillars heartily congratulate the Governor-elect of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, CON, on his well-deserved victory at the recently held governorship election of our beloved state.

“We recognize how keenly contested the Imo State governorship election on March 9 was, and your resounding victory based on the overwhelming support you received from Imolites across the three senatorial zones.

“Having monitored your political journey, we are confident that you have the requisite experience and competence as well as intellectual and mental capacity to turn around the fortunes of our state which is generally believed to have been largely run aground by the outgoing government.

“As a critical stakeholder in Imo State, Ahiara Pillars joins other well-meaning groups and individuals in Imo to pray for the success of your tenure and to wish you God’s protection and guidance as you pilot the ship of our beloved state to anchor where all Imolites will be proud to say they have a governor who is service-oriented.   

“Please, be rest assured of our support in any area you deem necessary in the interest of our beloved state and for the success of your administration.”
