The fourth edition of the Lights, Camera, Africa!!! Film Festival organised by the Life House will take place from Thursday, September 25 to Wednesday, October 1 in multiple venues in Lagos.
Created in 2011, organisers said this year’s edition with the theme: ‘Legacy’ will once again share with Lagosians the best and most original works coming out of African cinema.
“(This edition) celebrates the continent’s rich film-making tradition, connecting the classics to the avant-gardists in an audio-visual history that spans the times and genres,” the organisers said.
This year’s edition will celebrate many firsts including special focus on television, first seven-day festival, and the first international outpost screening event tagged: ‘The Heart and Light of LCA 2014’. This last first will allow audiences in London or New York to enjoy the festival’s selection also in October.
