British pundit and former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher is sticking with Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season, despite the strong form league leaders Manchester City have shown.
The Reds legend made this known while analysing last weekend’s Premier League matches on Monday Night Football.
City, who have had a perfect start so far this season, held on to beat newly promoted Ipswich Town 3-2 at the Etihad on Saturday.
A day later, Arsenal needed a late goal from substitute Noni Madueke to narrowly beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the City Ground.
With these victories, Man City sit top of the table with 21 points, three more than Arsenal in second place.

Speaking about the two teams, Carragher insists that the Gunners remain the team to beat despite the Citizens’ exploits so far.
He, however, admitted that a defeat for Arsenal against Forest would have presented a challenge for the North London side.
Speaking on the programme, Carragher said: “I still see Arsenal as the team to stop. If they dropped more points on Sunday, they could have been five behind Man City.
”We obviously don’t know what’s going to happen with City; we have to take it as it is right now.
”Arsenal would have been a bit worried about being five points behind someone like Man City and dropping points in quick succession, but they got the win.”
