Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 11 housemate, Joshua Alekewumu, better known as Tram, has refuted claims that he is currently indebted to the tune of ₦400 million after crashing a luxury car.
He made this known in a trending video interview that made the rounds online after he was introduced as a BBNaija housemate on Sunday night.
A popular blog had earlier reported that Nigerians dug up an old video of the BBNaija Season 11 housemate, in which he crashed a car and allegedly landed in 400 million naira debt.
Reacting to the claim in a now-trending post shared by a netizen identified on X as @carter8f, Tram noted that, contrary to the assertion held by many, he is not in debt.

He further stated that the automobile he crashed belonged to his friend, adding that he was in the car when the incident occurred.
Responding to questions about the debt, he said:”First of all, I don’t owe ₦400 million. And the cars we were drifting weren’t rentals—they belonged to my friend, who was also involved in the accident. Nigerians cared more about the car than whether I was alive. 💔”
BBNaija Season 11, themed “Show Ya Sef”, officially got underway on Sunday as organisers unveiled the first set of housemates who will battle for the grand prize in this year’s edition.
Tram, who is regarded as a Gen Z maverick and grew up in Lagos State, was the first of the housemates to be unveiled by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
