Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11, themed “Show Ya Sef”, officially got underway on Sunday as organisers unveiled the first set of housemates who will battle for the grand prize in this year’s edition of the reality TV show.
From streamers and entrepreneurs to models and creatives, the contestants are arriving with distinct personalities, bold strategies, and high expectations.
Tram was the first to be unveiled by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Tram is regarded as a Gen Z maverick who grew up in Lagos State. He says he has trust issues and is unwilling to betray anyone.
Temi Nkem is the second contestant to be unveiled. The 21-year-old is entering Biggie’s house with a clear game plan and plenty to say. She is playing by her own rules and has stated that her strategy includes avoiding romantic relationships and refusing to cook for the housemates.
Next is Martins from Kogi State, who will be trading runway shows and catwalks for Biggie’s house. The 30-year-old visual storyteller and model claims his hidden talent is reading minds. He is ready to have fun and admits he might wear his heart on his sleeve.
The fourth contestant is Abisola—simply called Abi—who is a married woman, as disclosed by Ebuka after he spotted her wedding ring and asked about her marital status. Although marriage can hinder romantic connections in the house, Abi, who hails from Osun State, is a chef, model, and certified scene-stealer.
She brings big laughs and enough personality—and sauce—to season the entire BBNaija house.

Keivo, a 27-year-old from Benue State, is the sixth housemate. A jack-of-all-trades, he brings heaps of self-confidence and has no filter. The web developer is open to love, though he cautions not to ask him about marriage just yet. His hobbies include gaming, painting, and drawing.
Mercedes is the seventh housemate. The 26-year-old massage therapist and concierge CEO from Delta State is bringing “boss energy” and big ambition to Biggie’s house.
Other housemates who have been unveiled so far include Kamzy, Sultex, Akou, Flora, Bells, Genard, and Oyin, who was the latest to be introduced.
The winner of BBNaija Season 11, which features over 20 housemates, is expected to receive a grand prize package comprising ₦100m in cash and a brand-new SUV, bringing the total prize value to ₦160m.
Returning as host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will oversee this year’s edition, which promises strategic gameplay, challenging tasks, unexpected twists, and dramatic interactions among the housemates.
