Carter Efe, while reacting to news that the internet personality tied the knot with his lover on Saturday, tagged students of the ‘School of GehGeh’ as fools.

Nigerian comedian and online streamer Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, better known as Carter Efe, has corroborated claims by the ex-manager of fellow influencer Emmanuel Obruste (aka GehGeh) and other netizens that the internet personality led them to destroy their own relationships.
He affirmed the allegations levelled against GehGeh after the content creator reportedly married his partner, identified as Mary, in a secret ceremony on Saturday in Niger State.
Prior to this development, a netizen identified on X as @iamkowho, who claimed to be the former manager of GehGeh, had confirmed that a viral wedding video of the skit maker trending online was authentic.
He also stated that he sacrificed his three-year marriage while supporting the influencer, only to be betrayed when GehGeh secretly tied the knot.
“I was GehGeh’s manager. I listened to him, fought with my wife, who I’ve been married to for three years, and left my marriage, only for him to betray me by getting married,” he alleged.

Claiming he left his home and wife after being convinced by the influencer, he added: “Last three years, I got married to a beautiful lady. Everything was good. This boy convinced me. I left that girl. The house we were living in together, I left the house for her. This boy stabbed me in the back.”
Apart from his former manager, other netizens—who claimed to be GehGeh’s “students”—also slammed him for getting married despite repeatedly advising them to stay single and avoid committed relationships.
Reacting to the news, Carter Efe called GehGeh out for giving bad relationship advice and blamed him for destroying his own 12-year relationship.
While accusing him of betrayal, the tearful streamer also tagged members of the ‘School of GehGeh’ as fools.
He said: “GehGeh gets the mind to marry after everything wey he dey talk. GehGeh made me leave my relationship. Relationship of 12 years. School of GehGeh na fool. He betrayed all of us. Jesus Christ.”
GehGeh is widely known for advising men against marriage and traditional relationship structures, frequently claiming that “marriage is a scam.”
