Maresca says he is not worried about Man City’s 115 charges incurred under Guardiola

​Maresca was appointed as the new manager of Man City on 29 June 2026 on a three-year contract, succeeding his former boss, Guardiola.

​Italian tactician and new Manchester City manager, Enzo Maresca, has insisted he is not bothered about the 115 charges against the Premier League outfit.

​He made this known recently while answering questions during his first press conference after replacing the Citizens’ former boss, Pep Guardiola, this summer.

​Man City are waiting for a verdict on 115 charges of alleged financial impropriety levelled by the Premier League management.

​Some of the alleged rule breaches happened between 2009 and 2018, a period when Guardiola had been manager for at least two years.

​Speaking on the charges while addressing journalists, Maresca said: “The only thing I can say is three years ago, the Treble season, I was here and it was the same words about this. In three years, it’s still the same.

​”Nothing has happened. I don’t have any concerns personally.”
