Morocco and France will kick off the tournament’s quarter-finals on Thursday at the Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, US.

Six European teams, African representatives Morocco, and South American giants Argentina will fight for places in the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup, after the tournament’s Round of 16 was concluded on Tuesday.
The European teams who qualified for the quarter-final matches—all of which will be played in the United States—include Spain, Switzerland, England, Norway, France and Belgium.
Switzerland were the last team to book their spot after they beat Colombia 4-3 on penalties. The match had ended 0-0 after 120 minutes.

They will face Argentina, who came from two goals down to see off Egypt 3-2 earlier in the day on Sunday, 12 July at the Kansas City Stadium (Arrowhead Stadium) in Kansas City, Missouri.
Meanwhile, France and Morocco will kick off the quarter-finals on Thursday, 9 July at the Boston Stadium (Gillette Stadium) in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
On Friday, 10 July, it will be the turn of Spain and Belgium to slug it out in an all-European quarter-final at the Los Angeles Stadium (SoFi Stadium) in Inglewood, California.
A day later, on Saturday, 11 July, Norway and England will conclude the last-eight fixtures at the Miami Stadium (Hard Rock Stadium) in Miami Gardens, Florida.
