Seun Kuti dismissed suggestions that he and Wizkid may have settled their differences privately, behind the scenes.

Afrobeats singer and instrumentalist Seun Kuti has said he does not intend to reconcile with ace music star Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, insisting their rift is a lifelong one.
He made this known recently while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of the Selah Meditate podcast.
Seun Kuti and Wizkid’s clash started earlier this year after Seun criticised Wizkid’s fanbase over comparisons between the Grammy-winning singer and Fela Kuti.
According to him, such comparisons undermined the legacy and influence of the late Afrobeat legend.
The disagreement later escalated on social media after Wizkid reportedly fired back at Seun in a series of Instagram posts, whilst also claiming he was greater than Fela.

Asked by the show’s host if he had settled his beef with Wizkid, Seun dismissed suggestions that both entertainers may have resolved their differences privately and away from the cameras.
He said: “I do not want to talk about that n***a, what is there to say? There is nothing to say about him. It is on for life, I do not have anything to say about him but the grudge is on for life.”
He went on to say that Wizkid’s comments were unforgivable because he viewed them as a serious disrespect to his father, the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
“You do not say things about my dad and then it is fine, there is no coming back from that,” Seun added.
