Doris Ogala reacts after Pastor Chris Okafor labels her a ‘Jezebel’

Doris Ogala reminded Okafor that he admitted to dating her in court documents, vowing that he would “crawl and apologise” to her again.

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has responded to a recent claim by the founder of Grace Nation International Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, that she is a “Jezebel”.

​She reacted to the name-calling and the retraction of his previous apology in a now-viral video posted on her official Instagram page.

​Last year, Ogala alleged that the clergyman dumped her for another woman after an eight-year relationship, despite promising to marry her.

The thespian, who demanded compensation, further accused the cleric of involvement in scandalous and criminal activities.

​Following a heated back and forth between the duo, Okafor eventually tendered an open apology to Ogala during a Sunday service, begging her and other women he had hurt for forgiveness.

However, the cleric made a U-turn in his latest comments and withdrew his initial apology, stating that he had offered it under duress.

​Explaining why he previously knelt to plead for forgiveness, he said: “Let it be known, I knelt because of those fathers of faith and the church. Not because of any Jezebel anywhere. No, God forbid.”

​Addressing Okafor’s retraction in the trending video, Ogala vowed to show the pastor “the stuff that Jezebels are made of.”

​She said: “So, it’s me you called Jezebel? You don’t know who Jezebel is. Because I was pitying you. I will show you what Jezebel does.”

​She also reminded Okafor that he had admitted to dating her in court documents and threatened that he would “crawl and apologise” to her again.

​Ogala added: “Chris, maybe you think this thing is a joke. Do you think I care about your apology? I said you will crawl and apologise to me; you think I’m joking. That time you knelt in your church is not enough. I said you will crawl—you will lie down and crawl on the floor and beg me.

​“You call me Jezebel; I will teach you what Jezebel does. You earlier admitted in a court paper that we actually dated. I’m glad that God is actually exposing you. I want you guys to see the pastor who preaches in the church—a pastor who came out and apologised. Pride got into him again and he came back to say he’s not sorry, he’s not apologetic. Your boy Kaci said he did not know where that video came from, yet you’re pushing it to go viral. Do you think I care about anything anymore? In case you guys don’t know, nothing makes sense to me anymore.”
