English Premier League (EPL) Champions, Liverpool will kick start the defence of their title against Bournemouth at Anfield on the opening weekend of the 2025-26 league season, Friday, August 15.
The Reds won last season’s EPL title with 10 points after Dutch tactician, Arne Slot took over from Jurgen Klopp.
Newly promoted sides, Sunderland and Burnley will also start their campaigns in the English elite division against West Ham and Europa League holders, Tottenham respectively on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will hope to bounce back from a rare trophyless season with a strong start against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
On Sunday, August 17, last season’s runner-up, Arsenal will travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Championship winners, Leeds are expected to face Everton at Elland Road for the Monday night game.
However, Everton fans will have to wait until the second round of fixtures for their first league game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, when they will face Brighton.
The season, which consists of 380 games over 33 weekends and five midweek rounds, will conclude on Sunday, May 24.
