Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, simply known as
Iyanya, has dedicated a new song to those affected by the recent bandits attack in Benue State.
TheNiche had earlier reported that over 200 inhabitants of Yelewata in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State were reportedly massacred by yet to be identified gunmen.
Reacting to the development via a song he posted on his X page, Iyanya condoled with Benue people and prayed for divine intervention.
He also urged the victims to continue believing in God even in this trying time, stressing that he is able to turn their sorrows to joy.
Sharing the video he captioned “We are praying for the people of Benue.” on his social media handle, Iyanya said, “I want to dedicate this song to all people of Benue State. It’s trying time for the whole country because we all share your pain.
“I pray God comforts everybody who lost a friend or brother, mother, father, family member. God will intervene.”
