Gene Hackman starred in ‘The French Connection,’ ‘The Conversation’ and ‘The Royal Tenenbaums,’ and other Hollywood hit movies

Legendary Nollywood actor, two-time Oscar winner and author, Gene Hackman, has passed away at the age of 95.
He was found dead alongside his wife, Betsy Arakawa and their dog in their New Mexico home on Wednesday afternoon.
The news of their demise was confirmed to ABC News on Thursday morning by Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer, Denise Avila.

According to him, the thespian and his wife’s lifeless bodies with that of their dog were found during a welfare check after their neighbour called in concern about their well-being.

Officials as at the time of this report said there was no immediate indication of foul play in the death of the couple.
They did not provide a cause of death or say when the couple might have died.
