Seun Kuti also told his fans that he does not want to get involved in the rift between Burna Boy and Speed Darlington

Afrobeats star, Seun Kuti has said American singer and music executive, Sean John Combs better known as Diddy made embattled Nigerian artiste, Darlington Okoye aka Speed Darlington popular.
He made this known while reacting to comments by some fans during a recent Instagram live session.
Kuti during the interaction, also told his fans and other Nigerians, that he does not want to get involved in the ongoing rift between his colleagues, Burna Boy and Speed Darlington.
Recall that Darlington was arrested by the police for suggesting that Burna Boy had an illicit relationship with Diddy in a bid to win a Grammy.

Speaking on the saga, Kuti said he wouldn’t want to be involved, stressing that Burna Boy gifting him diamond jewelry doesn’t make him his adviser.
He added that, moreover, Diddy whom Speed Darlington accused Burna Boy of having illicit relationships with, was the one who made the accuser popular.
He said, “Don’t involve me in Burna Boy & Speed Darlington’s case; because I collected a diamond from him doesn’t mean I’m his close adviser. Diddy was even the one who made Speed Darlington popular.
“He reposted ‘Bangdadang’ which made the song popular. I have done a lot of songs, and Diddy never posted any of them, but he reposted Speed Darlington’s song.”
