Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has described reports that Gunners striker, Gabriel Jesus could leave the Emirates during the January transfer window as untrue.
He made this known ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) tie against French club, Monaco.
Several media outlets had earlier claimed that the Brazilian international might return to his country due to a lack of regular playing time at Arsenal.
Since joining the North London side from Manchester City a few years ago, Jesus has faced challenges with injuries and fitness, which have limited his opportunities on the pitch.

He went on to pledge that he will support Jesus, saying he has shown “good attitude” despite his travails
Arteta said: “Reports of Gabriel Jesus leaving and going to Brazil in January are nonsense. Like all strikers, they go through phases and moments. His attitude has been really good. We’re going to support him as much as possible.*
