King Charles invites DJ Cuppy to 2024 ‘King’s Trust Awards’

King Charles before inviting DJ Cuppy to Buckingham Palace, had a brief moment with her at the ‘Prince’s Trust Awards’ on Tuesday

British monarch, King Charles III has invited Nigerian disc jockey, singer and billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, to a reception at Buckingham Palace to grace the 2024 edition of the ‘King’s Trust Awards’.

This was revealed after the popular disc jockey shared a copy of the invite via her X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday.

The invite read, “The Master of The King’s Household is commanded by His Majesty to invite Ms Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola to a Reception to be given at Buckingham Palace by The King in celebration of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.”

Posting the invitation on her verified social media page, DJ Cuppy also captioned it; “I’m off to Buckingham Palace.”

Meanwhile, the Afrobeats singer on Tuesday, May 21, delivered a captivating stage presence during the ‘Prince’s Trust Awards’.

DJ Cuppy who is an international ambassador of the project, looked lovely in a long peach embellished gown as she presented two awards, “Global Young Achiever and Global Sustainability awards”, from a brightly lit podium.

The show hosted in the UK highlights the inspirational stories of young people, volunteers and those who support their “wider communities”.

According to reports, DJ Cuppy also had a brief moment with King Charles, among other top dignitaries present at the event.
