Ace Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke aka Davido, got more than he bargained for from a troll on social media platform X, after making a blunder in his Mother’s Day message.

Just like people across the world, the ‘Electricity” crooner joined in this year’s Mother’s Day celebration, which took place on Sunday, May 12.

While celebrating his late mothers, the DMW label boss took to his social media handle and tweeted: “Hapoy Mother’s Day!” instead of writing “Happy Mother’s Day.”

After the tweet went viral, an X user identified as @_oluwaseun9 refused to disregard what could have been an innocent typographical error and seized the opportunity to drag the  singer.
