Tinubu also nominated a former spokesperson for his presidential campaign, Festus Keyamo.

Many on social media had taunted Keyamo over his exclusion from the ministerial list. They also listed former governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi; and ex governor of Cross River State Ben Ayade as part of those who were not nominated.
