Buhari returns to Nigeria after Paris summit

The president, Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Nigeria after a four-day visit to France where he attended the Africa Financing Summit in Paris.

According Bashir Ahmad, an aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media, Buhari returned to Abuja after a successful African Finance Summit which focused on reviewing the African economy following the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to one of the president’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu: “During the visit, President Buhari will meet with the French President to discuss growing security threats in Sahel and Lake Chad region, political relations, economic ties, climate change and partnership in buoying the health sector, particularly in checking spread of Covid-19, with more research and vaccines.
