Gunmen has kidnapped a female Professor of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam, Anambra East local government area of Anambra State.

The residents of the area, who raised the alarm over the kidnap, said that it happened on Wednesday October 28, 2020 along Enugwu-Agidi -Nawgu road close to 7pm.

It was also gathered that the victim hailed from Enugwu Ukwu community in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state.

It was the second time such incident would happen at the same spot involving a lecturer of Ojukwu University in recent times.

The President General of Enugwu-Agidi Brotherly Union (EBU), Ndubuisi Obijiofor, related the incident to the deplorable condition of the road.
