The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate, Gboluga Ikengboju, has just cast his vote at unit 10, Ward 2, Okitipupa local government area.
The election is a tight contest between three candidates – Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Alabour Party (ZLP) and Eyitayo Jegede of the PDP.
The three candidates who all came from the three different senatorial zones of the state, are leveraging on their strength in their respective senatorial zones to get the top job in the state.

The choice of their deputies is also expected to bolster their chances in the poll.,
