The Nigerian healthcare sky is increasingly getting dark and cloudy as the country recorded 381 new cases of Coronavirus infections on Thursday, the highest in a single day, so far.
The frightening single day cases shot the country’s total to 3,526.
Lagos State also created an unenviable recorded with its highest Coronavirus figures in a single day, with a haul of 183 cases. Kano State recorded 55 new infections and Jigawa came third with 44 new cases.
In the figures released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday, Zamfara and Bauchi recorded 19 new cases each, while Katsina ramped up 11 new infections.
Others are: Borno, nine; Kwara, eight; Kaduna, seven; Gombe, six; Ogun, five; Sokoto, four; Oyo and Rivers, three; Niger, two, while Akwa Ibom, Enugu and Plateau recorded one case each.
According to NCDC, on its twitter handle, Nigeria has so far discharged 601 Cotonavirus patients who recovered and lost 107 people.
