Radio host, Toke Makinwa, has stolen the headline from the COVID-19 panic in the country with an unconventional suggestion for women on how to go about their sex needs.

On her social media platform, she issued a stunning advice that every woman should own a vibrator (sex toy).

Makinwa, 33, said women should no longer be dependent on men to discover their bodies and get sexual pleasures.

The advice, which came as a video post, has already attracted thousands of interactions on twitter, making it a top trend on that platform.

Makinwa’s advice drew differing comments from Nigerians. While some think she was expressing the secret desires of a huge number, others believe her divorced status was the major factor why she was encouraging women to replace men with vibrators.

The three-year old marriage of the On Air Personality was dissolved by a Lagos High Court in 2017.

Makinwa had filed for divorce in March 2016 on grounds that her husband, Maje Ayida, committed adultery.

She said her husband cheated with his mistress, Anita Solomon, an affair which produced a child. She added that since they got married her husband had “behaved in a way she could not reasonably be expected to continue to bear.” The court granted her prayers and dissolved the union.
