Presidential candidates of various political parties are either lamenting poor turnout, malfunctioning equipment or commending the exercise.

The candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Kingsley Moghalu, said that as at 10:36 am, he was unable to vote in his polling unit Ward 2 of Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

He complained that the card readers are not functioning and the result sheets arrived late. He said many voters had already been disenfranchised.

Omoyele Sowore said the logo of the African Action Congress (AAC) for the
Lagos East Senatorial seat was not included in the ballot paper and threatened court action.

Sowore said the political system was a total failure.
