Justice S.O. Nwaka of the Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court of the Ikeja Judicial Division has urged prisons warders to always give inmates breakfast before bringing them to her courtroom.
She stated this when she noticed that the inmates at the court room were all shaking because of the level of the court’s air condition.
She said that they won’t have been shaking for cold if they have had breakfast.
She further said that the well being of inmates was important to her court. She commended the warders for adhering to her previous plea of ensuring that the inmates were clean before bringing them to her court.
“I want to commend you guys for adhering to my complain  the other time because these prisoners were coming to court dirty and smelling everywhere in court. They are cleaner today.
“Again I appeal, if any amongst them is pressed, take them out so they don’t turn my courtroom into toilet like one did the last time,” she said.
