The Confederation of African Football has picked NFF Executive Committee member Yusuf Ahmed Fresh as head of its Technical Study Group for the M’Bour centre at the 19th African Youth Championship finals in Senegal next month.
Fresh, who only last week earned a fresh four-year mandate as chairman of the Niger State Football Association, is also chairman of the NFF Referees Committee.
He will head the group that will work at Caroline Faye Stadium, M’Bour (50 kilometres outside Dakar), in Group B of the tournament that will see Ghana, South Africa, Mali and Zambia contest for places at the FIFA U-20 World Cup finals in New Zealand this summer.
The tournament’s Group A has host Senegal, Nigeria, Congo and Cote d’Ivoire, who will duel at the Leopold Senghor Stadium in Dakar.
Fresh is also a member of the CAF Technical and Development Committee.
