The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, has as resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), making it the second political party he has abandoned in less than two months.
It was gathered that Agboola has concluded all the arrangements to join the Zenith Labour Party today.
In his resignation letter, the Deputy Governor appreciates the National Leadership and members of the PDP for their warm reception and acceptance in the short period he rejoined the party.
He said his decision was as a result of the call on him by majority of the good people of Ondo State to give hope to the hopeless, provide credible and purposeful leadership in their dear State.
The chairman of the PDP in Apoi Ward ii of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Festus Oboro acknowledged the receipt of the resignation letter on 9th of August, 2020.
