Nollywood actor turned politician, Yul Edochie, has finally disclosed why he does not share pictures of his children with his estranged wife, May Edochie, on social media, stating that he has been restrained from doing so.
He made the revelation recently while speaking with Kel Armstrong Amobi on the ‘KAA Truth’ podcast.
Yul made the disclosure after being criticised and “dragged” online by netizens for only posting images of his children with his second wife, Judy Austin.
While denying that he had abandoned his children with May, Yul noted that there is an existing court order preventing him from sharing their pictures.
The thespian, who insisted that he remains in contact with his children, added that he sent money to his second son through the mother’s bank account just three days ago.

During the interview, Yul said: “I’ve heard a lot of things about people saying I abandoned my children. Sometimes I read those things and I laugh. If my children never come to you and complain, it’s funny—because I am in contact with my children.
“My second son just got into university some months ago; he just had his matriculation a few days back, and we are communicating. In fact, he told me about it a day before the event. I said, ‘You know I’m very busy; why didn’t you tell me this ahead of time, like five days or a week, so that I could come?’ I said, ‘Okay, congratulations.’
“’You’re 17, and that was my age when I got into university as well; of course, my parents were not even there when I did my matriculation. So, it’s time for you to be a man. If you had told me earlier, I would have been there, but best of luck, bro—I wish you the best.’
“I told him to send me pictures when they were done. He sent me the pictures. This is the same son people are saying I’m not in contact with. You can’t set up a camera to debunk everything. I had a chat with my son yesterday and I sent him money today. I sent it through the mother, so that the bank keeps a record of it.
“No matter what happened, it shouldn’t affect the children. There is also a court order—you know there is a divorce case going on. That’s why I can’t really speak about it, but there is a court order stating that I shouldn’t post anything to do with my children for their own safety. My second son is 17, while the other one is about eight years old. They said no more posting of them. So, it’s not like I don’t love them. They are my blood.”
