Wizkid refuses to choose between Tems and Burna Boy

Wizkid, however, picked Lagos mainland over Lagos island, arguing that he was a mainland boy and would always represent it till he dies

Ace Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has sent tongues wagging on social media after refusing to say who he prefers between two of his colleagues in the entertainment industry during a recent interview.

In a video currently making the rounds, Wizkid while playing the ‘This or That’ game, where he was required to pick one of the two options provided by the interviewer, opted not to answer some key questions.

The ‘Call Me Every Day’ crooner, when put into a tight corner and asked to choose between two Nigeria singers,  Tems and Burna Boy, declined to give an answer.

Wizkid responding, said it was a hard question to reply, saying the two prominent artistes are like his family members and he cannot make a choice between the duo. 

In his words: “Don’t do that to me mehn, they are like two family members, I can’t pick. I love two of them.”

Wizkid was, however, quick to pick between Lagos mainland over Lagos island. According to the Grammy Awards winner, he was a mainland boy and would always represent the zone till he dies. 

Also, during the interview, the 32-year-old musician was asked to make a choice between eating soups, efo riro and egusi. 

The music star, after taking a deep breath, switched from speaking English language to  Yoruba, as he asserted he loves both Nigerian soups

Wizkid went on to say he loves both soups very much, especially when they are made with big stockfish.
