Ace Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, had disclosed he had a crush on Nollywood star, Genevieve Nnaji in an old social media post that recently resurfaced.
Wizkid, who was surprisingly forthcoming with information about his personal life in his early days in the music industry in the video, didn’t hold back.
In the old clip, the music star revealed during an interview that he had a crush on the beautiful thespian before he eventually met her.
According to Wizkid, Genevieve was like his aunty but that didn’t stop him from crushing on a woman much older than her.

He, however, didn’t clarify if such a feeling was in the past or an ongoing desire he still intends to pursue in the future.
He said: “I really had a crush on Genevieve until I met her and she’s like my aunty. I was like ‘awwn, but I love you though’. I had a crush on Genevieve, like I really really did.”
When pressed further on why the 31-year-old singer was crushing on the actress, who is 12 years older than him, Wizkid said he developed such feelings after watching her on the TV screen as a child.
The video, which has since gone viral took netizens unawares and got them talking because they know the singer is normally tight-lipped when it concerns information about his private life.
