Lere Olayinka, a Media Aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has challenged FCT Senator, Ireti Kingibe, to provide evidence that his boss fraudulently allocated lands to his sons.

He gave the advice in a post he shared on his Facebook page on Friday, describing the federal lawmaker as an “accidental senator.”

TheNiche had earlier reported that the FCT senator recently accused Wike of granting illegal waivers on title land bills to his sons, reducing them from N200 million to a mere N2 million within 48 hours.

Speaking during an interview on Arise TV, Kingibe also claimed she has documents to back up her claims.

Reacting to the allegation, Olayinka, who is the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the minister, charged Kingibe to forward the evidence of her allegations against Wike to the public and anti-graft agencies.

He also cautioned the federal lawmaker that using Wike’s name as “launchpad” won’t bring her back to the Senate

Olayinka wrote: “Responsible and serious people don’t go on national TV to say ‘I have evidence of corruption by govt officials’; they display whatever evidence they have, release them to the public, and forward same to relevant anti-corruption agencies.

“That accidental senator, Ireti (alias Kingibe), who is impersonating by bearing the name of a man she is no longer married to, should go back to the TV station and display the documents she claimed to have on the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

“Like I have said, the Senate seat she got accidentally in 2023 won’t be retained in 2027 using Wike as a launchpad. The earlier she knows and accepts this, the better for Madam Impersonator.”
