What’s with Toyin Aimakhu and hubby?

-

Since they got married in 2013, Toyin Aimakhu and Adeniyi Johnson have continued to ‘show off’ their love or tantrums on social media. When Toyin tattooed her husband’s name on her ring finger, she flaunted it on her Instagram page.

The irony of it all is that they get more bashings than kudos for this show off, to the extent that a follower asked that others should pray for the survival of their marriage.

When the pretty Nollywood actress posted her pictures without the usual Johnson tag and also reverted to using Miss, her ever curious fans started asking questions.

As if in answer to their queries, Johnson asked them to beg Toyin not to leave him, as he does not want a broken home. He was at fault.

This is his post: To clear the air on the recent happenings… I, ADENIYI JOHNSON, is at fault and not my wife… she reacted according to her pains and we all have different ways of reacting… I beg everyone to please stop throwing banters and insults… you can channel all anger and grievances towards me and not her…. instead of abuses, I would rather BEG you to join me in apologising to my darling, lovely and adorable wife… OLUTOYIN I’M DEEPLY SORRY PLEASE….. I promise to make things right…. I don’t want a broken home… #shecaughtmeflirting #dirtychat.

Almost a week after this confession, it is still the same story with the couple. A fan posted on Aimakhu’s timeline, “Why do you always change your status? There’s no marriage without issues. If you marry another man, what’s the guarantee that he won’t cheat? Or do you want to be changing husbands? You need to be more prayerful. Men will always cheat, but you as a woman has to be focused.”

This couple should have taken to Joke Silva’s advice that relationships, especially for celebrities, should be kept out of the social media. It is hoped that they reconcile, learn from their mistakes and keep their relationship away from the social media.
