“Consequently, I also appeal to the President, General Buhari, to use his good office to ensure that every eligible person who casts their vote is confident in the process and in the belief that their vote will count,” Atiku said.
Quoting former president Goodluck Jonathan, Atiku said his ambition does not worth the blood of any Nigerian and advised Nigerians to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner.
“My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian.”
He appealed to the Independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) and its staff, the Police to be fair in the upcoming elections.
“Hopefully, our democracy should emerge stronger from this process with 2019 proving better managed than 2015 process, which was adjudged free and fair with the opposition victory unobstructed,” Atiku said.
