British pundit and former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has expressed regret over the Gunners’ inability to bring Morgan Rogers to the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window.
The ex-England forward conveyed his frustration while selecting his combined Arsenal and Chelsea XI on TikTok ahead of Sunday’s London derby.
Arsenal bolstered Mikel Arteta’s squad this summer by signing several players, including Bruno Guimarães, Ezri Konsa, and Christos Tzolis, before the close of the transfer window.

However, the North London club failed to sign Rogers, who opted to join London rivals Chelsea from Premier League side Aston Villa.
While picking his combined Arsenal and Chelsea XI, Walcott admitted that Arsenal should have bought the England international.
When comparing Rogers to Mikel Arteta’s Greek acquisition, Tzolis, Walcott said: “Tzolis, I like him, but it’s Rogers. We should have got him, oh well.”
