Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his opponent at the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, held rallies in the North West states of Kano and Sokoto today, February 9 hoping to use the event to outdo each other with crowd attendance.

Atiku and Tinubu are expected to fight for the votes in the North West fiercely, a region predominantly Hausa/Fulani Muslim in demography, and which has a reputation for voting for any of the two parties – PDP and APC.
