Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show housemate, Uriel Oputa, has revealed why she missed out on the Best Dressed award of the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Speaking via her Instagram page, she insisted she would have won the award if she made it to the venue of the event on time.
Several media outlets had earlier reported that another BBNaija Star, Liquorose, won the Best Dressed Female award at the 2025 AMVCA, while Prince Nelson, a Nigerian actor and TV host took home the Best Dressed Male.
Each of the winners took home the sum of N1 million cash prize.

However, reacting to the development, Uriel claimed that she lost the Best Dressed Female award to Liquorose due to her lateness to the event.
While insisting that her outfit was elegant, she wrote; “This is not to knock anyone’s design. Everyone looked stunning.
“But let be honest, the only reason I didn’t win best dressed is because I was not there on time. Nobody can tell me my dress didn’t eat.”
The 2025 AMVCA awards, held on Saturday May 10, drew a star-studded attendee featuring BBNaija stars, top entertainment personalities, and prominent dignitaries.
