UNILORIN plans N50b projects for 50th anniversary
UNILORIN, established in 1975, previously announced it would embark on N50 billion worth of projects to mark its 50 years of existence.
Egbewole unveiled the anniversary logo last month where he said the celebration would span the whole of this year, from January to December, to rejoice in the greatness the school attained in five decades and to sustain the greatness for the future.
He said after 50 years, the institution would
- Move to the next level where it would be more committed to research findings and infrastructural development.
- Build an innovation hub for research and scientific developments.
According to Egbewole, the next level would be reflected in the existing strategic development plan for 2024-2028 devised by his administration.
He said the anniversary events will involve UNILORIN alumnae who would be celebrated alongside their alma mater, and expressed hope that the former students will make a huge contribution toward the success of the event.
