Kirk, 31, a father of two, was shot dead after a gunman fired a single shot from a hunting rifle during an event at the Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

The assailant, who was later identified as

“He’s going to be found guilty I imagine. And I hope he gets the death penalty.

Charlie Kirk was the finest person. He didn’t deserve this. He worked so hard, and so well. Everybody liked him,”
Trump said

Kirk, who was a huge supporter of Trump, made several controversial statements on race relations, gun laws, family and other burning issues while alive.
